The Greene County 4-H Foundation will kick off its fundraising drive during National 4-H Week, Oct. 3-9.
This board provides $10,000 to $15,000 annually to Greene County 4-H educational programs and projects. “The goal this year is to purchase new equipment for the Clover Café which operates during the Greene County Fair. Many items are decades old and are in need of immediate replacement,” stated Loel Larson, chairperson of the Greene County 4-H Foundation.
The Clover Café is the largest fundraising project to give back to the local 4-H program. This year was a big success under the management of Donna Carhill. Persons who want more information or to make a donation can contact the Greene County Extension office at 515-386-2138, or visit at 104 W. Washington St, Jefferson.
